Accessible Parking

Guests needing access to an elevator or escalator should enter the ballpark at Gate 5.

Accessible parking for cars displaying state issued disability placards or license plates is available on the north side of the ballpark in parking lot B immediately adjacent to Gate 5. To reach lot B guests from the north should travel south on Wentworth from 31st Street and turn right on 33rd, then left on Wells Street. Guests coming from the south should travel north on LaSalle from 35th and turn left onto 33rd, then left onto Wells.

The Chicago Sports Depot located at Gate 5 and all Guaranteed Rate Field Gift Shops are wheelchair accessible. Additional shops are located behind home plate on the 500 Level and on the 100 Level near sections 101, 123 and 157.

Accessible Seating/Companion Seating

Sight line accessible and wheelchair seating is located on all levels. Levels are accessible by elevators at Gate 5 and behind home plate. Fans with wheelchairs may make arrangements prior to arrival by calling (312) 674-5225. TDD (312) 674-5188.

Alternative Format Materials

We provide the schedule, promotional schedule and ADA brochure in large print format.

Assistive Listening Devices

Personal headset radios are available free of charge at all Guest Relations Booths.

Automated Teller Machines

All ATM's at Guaranteed Rate Field are marked with Braille. They are located on the 100 Level behind home plate and in center field; in section 540 and behind home plate on the 500 Level; outside of the Leinenkugel’s Craft Lodge and outside of the park at Gate 4 and 5 on the Ground Level.

Captioning

Closed Captioning is available for our fans on the right field video board or on the MLB Ballpark App.

Concessions

There are a variety of portable concession stands located along both the 100 Level and 500 Level concourses that are wheelchair accessible. Most fixed concession stands have specially designed windows to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. Please see the nearest Guest Service Representative for assistance or stand attendant for menu assistance.

Dietary Restrictions

Guests are welcome to carry in food in a small, clear (see-through) plastic bag. Guests who need an exception to the carry-in-policy should enter Gate 5 and ask for a security supervisor.

Elevators/Escalators

For the convenience of guests requiring special assistance plus one companion, elevators are located behind home plate and at Gate 5 on the north side of the park.

Escalators are located at Gates 3 and 5 to access the Lower (100), Club (300) and Upper (500) levels. Please note that escalators may only go in the up position. Escalators are available for exiting the ballpark at Gate 5 only.

Emergency Evacuation

Security and operations personnel are trained in safety, first-aid and evacuation procedures of Guaranteed Rate Field including the needs of our guest with disabilities.

Entry and Carry in Policy

Please adhere to the following guidelines so that all fans may enjoy their experience at GRF.

Guests are welcome to:

  • Carry in food in a small, clear (see-through) plastic bag.
  • Carry in one sealed plastic bottle of water, one liter or less in size, but no other beverages of any kind.
  • Use small, compact umbrellas. When opened, they may not obstruct the view of other guests. Golf size umbrellas are not permitted into the ballpark.
  • Enter with a stroller, umbrella size strollers are suggested.

Restricted Items:

  • Weapons of any type, including pepper spray. It is illegal for anyone to enter or attempt to enter the ballpark with a firearm, regardless of permit.
  • No bags - exceptions will be made for small medical bags, small clutch purses (under 9"x5"x2" in size) and diaper bags when an infant is present.
  • Selfie Sticks
  • Aerosol Spray cans including hair spray, sunscreen etc.
  • Bottles, cans, hard-sided coolers or any type of alcohol beverage.
  • Guests may not use any tobacco products inside the ballpark. Pursuant to the Smoke-Free Illinois Act and City of Chicago Ordinance, the use of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and chewing tobacco are prohibited.
  • Per MLB policy, drones are strictly prohibited on Guaranteed Rate Field and White Sox property.

Fan Texting

Fans may text 773-754-HELP (4357) to reach our command center for any issue that may arise during your visit. You will reach a bounce back message immediately. Text STOP to cancel. Message and date rates may apply.

First Aid

First aid is located on the ground level behind homeplate. Use the marked elevators to access the room. Should you require assistance, please contact any uniformed staff member. You can reach our safety command center by texting "riseabove" to 69050. Assistance of any kind will be dispatched.

Guest Services

Guest Relations Booths are located on the 100 Level, Club Level, and 500 Level of the ballpark. Guest Service Representatives are trained to handle the needs of our guests. Feel free to stop by with your questions, comments or suggestions. Electric wheelchairs may be recharged at the Guest Relations Booth by informing a Guest Service Representative. Arrangements may be made in advance by calling 312-674-5225; (TDD) 312-674-5235.

Interpreting Services

A dedicated sign language interpreter can be arranged with advance notification by contacting Chicago White Sox Guest Relations via our website. Interpreters may be available without notice during most games by making a request at any guest relations booth.

Noise Cancelling Headphones / Sensory Room

Ear plugs and noise reducing headphones are available at all guest relations booths.

A quiet room with touch panels, weighted lap pads and more for our guests needing a short sensory break is located in Suite 460.

Photosensitivity Warning

Guaranteed Rate Field has a modern LED field light system that features a sequence of flashing lights that may affect guests who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitivities.

Public Transportation

Guaranteed Rate Field is easily accessed via public transportation. The ballpark is located just off the Sox-35th station of the CTA Red Line, which are wheelchair accessible. The area is also serviced by a number of bus routes. Guests may visit the Chicago Transit Authority website at www.transitchicago. com/accessiblity or contact them via phone at 312.836.7000 for more information.

The Metra stop is located at 35th Street just east of the Dan Ryan Expressway, along the Rock Island Line. "Bronzeville" station is accessible.

Quiet Room / Sensory Room

Should a quiet room be necessary, please contact a Guest Service Representatives, security guard or go to the guest relations booth and a quiet room for directions to our Sensory room located on the 400 level.

Restrooms/Family Restrooms

Every washroom in Guaranteed Rate Field is equipped for guests who are wheelchair users. A companion washroom is located near section 106 on the 100 Level. Please contact the Guest Service Representative near section 106 for access to the companion washroom. First-Aid is also available as a companion restroom.

Service Animals

Guaranteed Rate Field welcomes service animals utilized by guests with disabilities.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available on all levels of the park. Adjacent companion seating and additional seating may be purchased based on availability. Guests needing to exchange tickets for an accessible seat should go to the Guest Relations locations behind home plate.

Sightline - accessible seating on the Main (100) Level can be found in sections 104, 109, 110, 118, 119, 133, 144, 145, 154, 155 and 160. All of the accessible seats on the Club (300) and Upper (500) Levels are sightline - accessible. Diamond Suite levels are accessible.

Ticket Information

Single-game or group tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 312-674-5246; (TDD) 312-674-5235. Tickets may also be purchased at the Guaranteed Rate Field box office at Gate 4 during business hours. Wheelchair accessible ticket windows are located at the main box office and at Gates 3 and 5. If a group contains a number of guests with limited mobilities, please call the numbers listed above for special arrangements.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located near the restrooms throughout the ballpark.

Wheelchair Services

Should you require a wheelchair escort from any gate entrance to your seat, please ask any uniformed personal at the gate. Escorts can be arranged for exiting to the gate following the game through the guest relations booth or by asking any uniformed staff member. Please be aware escorts cannot enter the parking lots.
